Supporting Brands People Love to Love
RÉSUMÉ.
Professional
Overview
My professional career first began as a member of an Internet startup as a part of their "street team." This entailed various marketing efforts such as flyering, social media maintenance, event planning, and more. It then evolved into a brand marketing internship at a Fortune 500 company, which included collaboration with internal and external resources to support several key brands. My next experience was an internship on the other side of marketing, supporting the client as an account management intern. After enjoying an internship at an agency, I was hired as traffic coordinator at a small creative agency. Ensuring that the production process was followed correctly, managing schedules, routing projects, and working closely with collegues all prepared me for my current role as marketing specialist for construction and property management company, Gross Builders. Properly managing the image and branding of over 30 communities in 4 different states has challenged me to hone the skills I learned about strategy and placement in advertising.

Marketing Specialist
Gross Builders
April 2015 - Present
In my current role as marketing specialist, I am responsible for ensuring that our brands are consistent across our portfolio. Communication is key in my every day interactions with vendors, fellow employees, and freelancers to assure our company and properties are represented how they should be. Having an ever-growing portfolio of over 30 multi-family communities means my organization skills have been put the test, as well as the ability to prioritize projects. As each day unfolds, I find I am learning the processes that take place in establishing a new property from inception to construction to the day the doors open.
Traffic Coordinator
AMG Marketing Resources, Inc.
July 2014 - April 2015
In the course of my time at AMG, I was lucky enough to be able to work with just about everyone in the agency each day. My job was to act as the liaison between account services and the creative department in order to keep a continuous flow of accurate and precise communication. In doing so, I was able to accumulate new skills and knowledge from all areas of discipline in marketing such as using project management systems to track projects, understanding responsive design, and understanding key brand strategies. In addition, I have learned how to adapt to situations quickly, and I see a great difference in how I work in teams.

Experience
Account Management Intern
Precision Dialogue
May 2013 - August 2013
During my time as an account management intern for Precision Dialogue, I was responsible for maintaining and creating several expense reports, gathering data for presentations to the team for possible client projects, and assisting in day-to-day activities for clients. My skills in leadership and my managerial capabilities have been well improved from the interactions I had with the team members in the agency. I loved being able to help brands grow with the tools we were able to provide them.
Brand Marketing Intern
The Sherwin-Williams Company
May 2012 - August 2012
As a brand marketing intern at Sherwin-Williams in the Diversified Brands division in applicators and caulk, I was responsible for maintaining the E-Accounting system, coordinating the design and creation of several marketing tools such as sell sheets, and working with other employees or outside agencies to execute specific jobs. My leadership abilities and my branding knowledge have dramatically increased while working closely with my mentor/manager as well. Being able to see the various activities related to marketing that we could perform for our brands was the best part about this position.
Events and Marketing Manager
Route One Apparel
February 2011 - December 2013
My experience in marketing and management with Internet startup Route One Apparel has helped add to my knowledge and background in business. With Route One Apparel, I had helped increase our fan base on social media to over 57,000 people. I have also contributed to sales of over $1,000 in just one night after releasing a new product. Through my itme with Route One Apparel, I have increased my abilities in communication and marketing techniques catered to the young target market on campus. Seeing this online store improve and grow dramatically has been the best part of my time on the team.
